How Did Jim Rohn Make His Money

Emmanuel James Rohn popularly known as Jim Rohn is a famous American motivational speaker, author, entrepreneur, investor and a business philosopher. He was born on 17 ^th September 1930 in Yakima, Washington in the United States of America and died on 5 ^th December 2009 in West Hills, California in the United States of America at the age of 79 years old.

His father's name is Emanuel Rohn while his mother's name is Clara Rohn. He led an exemplary life as an American who was both an entrepreneur, motivational speaker and an author. His highly influential and succoring speeches warmed the hearts of millions and ignited hope in the society.

His family owned and worked on a farm in Caldwell, Idaho in the United States of America, where he grew up as an only child. Jim Rohn left college after spending just one year in school and started his professional life by working as a stock clerk for a department store called "Sears". Around this time, a friend invited him to a lecture given by entrepreneur John Earl Shoaff.

In 1955, Jim Rohn joined John Earl Shoaff's direct selling business "AbundaVita" as a distributor. In 1957, Jim Rohn resigned his distributorship with "AbundaVita" and joined "Nutri-Bio" another direct selling company. It was at this point that the company's founders, including John Earl Shoaff, started to mentor him.

After this mentorship, Jim Rohn went ahead to build one of the largest organizations in the company. In 1960, when Nutri-Bio expanded into Canada, John Earl Shoaff and the other founders selected Jim Rohn as a vice president for the organization. After Nutri-Bio went out of business in the early 1960s, Jim Rohn was invited to speak at a meeting of his Rotary Club. He accepted the invitation and soon, others began asking him to speak at various luncheons and other events.

In 1963 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Jim Rohn gave his first public seminar. He then began presenting seminars all over the country, telling his story and teaching business principles and his personal development philosophy. Throughout the 1970s, Jim Rohn has conducted a number of seminars for Standard Oil. At the same time, he participated in a personal development business called "Adventures in Achievement" which featured both live seminars as well as personal development workshops. He presented seminars worldwide for more than 40 years before he died.

Jim Rohn in his career as a motivational speaker and a business philosopher has mentored great motivational speaker like Mark R. Hughes, who is the founder of Herbalife International. Jim Rohn is also the mentor and life coach of famous motivational speaker Tony Robbins in the late 1970s.

Jim Rohn has also mentored several influential personalities like Mark Victor Hansen, Everton Edwards, Jack Canfield, Brian Tracy, Todd Smith and T. Harv Eker. Jim Rohn also co-authored the novel "Twelve Pillars" alongside with Chris Widener.

In 1985, Jim Rohn became the recipient of the 1985 National Speakers Association Award for Excellence in Speaking. Jim Rohn is also the author of 17 different written, audio and video media on business philosophy and personal development. Jim Rohn is married with many children and grandchildren.

Unfortunately, on 5 ^th December 2009. Jim Rohn died of pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 79 years old. He was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California in the United States of America.

Jim Rohn before his death was one of the richest and most influential personality in the United States of America with an estimated net worth of $500 million.
